The best things about Fall

There is nothing more cozy or beautiful then the peacoat. It is one of the most functional fashion peices because it is made of wool and actually warm, but always makes an outfit look put together. You can wear the peacoat with just about anything, dresses, jeans, slacks, and there are a million different cuts and colors. My favorite this season are the classic white, yellow and red. Although I have to avoid the red this year with my vibrant red hair, it gives such a kick to an outfit. The white peacoat is classic and timeless, perfect with a winter dress or hat. The yellow is a sophisticated look, it is fun and youthful, and as long as you pick the right shade keeps an outfit original.

And I recently started watching Project Runway....that lead me to Tim Gunn's guide to style...and then I started tivo-ing what not to wear and now i realize that i have no style, but I think that acknowlegment is the first key to fixing the problem. :)

maryanne, you are so darling. i'm so excited to fashionably follow you! seriously, i love your taste in clothes. you're always so well put together and perfect. thanks for understanding about my hatred toward coldness. i miss home soooo badly this time of year! but, one good thing about the cold season in utah is all the layers of cuteness. cute blouse, sweater, coat, hat, scarf, gloves, boots...all necessities here. it's kind of fun to dress up everyday! will you put together some cute layering outfits for me? and, i love you!
